Our story
A few years back we needed to build a home. So, we did what most people in that situation do, we looked for a home builder. We interviewed a few of the local options, we pulled the trigger and started the process. Everything looked great from the start, we began to get excited with anticipation and looked forward to the day we’d go through the doors of what will become our new home.
Well, the hopeful anticipation wore off quickly as we begin witnessing challenge after challenge, changes in schedule (meaning delays), poor workmanship, and even worse final results. On top of this, we experienced loads of upcharges and additional expenses we never expected to incur. That experience got us thinking… “Why is it so difficult to find good companies, contractors who do the work they promised they’d do, on time, and with the quality they advertised before signing the contract?”
This is a question we don’t have an answer to, even now. Since we could not come up with an answer, we decided that if we stepped into that need, and provided that kind of service, quality, timely, responsive and competitively priced, we’d meet a need many people in our situation face today.
It turns out we were right. We live in an area that is positioned for fast growth and is indeed growing rapidly. Shortly after partnering with Chad Hoffman, we formed WJ Huff Construction as a tribute to the life inspiration we received almost a decade ago from one of our dear mentors.
Our purpose is to create solutions to living well.
WJ Huff offers complete construction services to individuals and families who want a house they can call home.
We also provide services to commercial clients. WJ Huff offers property development and maintenance to investors and commercial developers to enable future growth.

Employment
The construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of new homes, remodels, and various company initiatives. The Construction Project Manager will work with external General Contractors, Subcontractors, Architects, Civil Engineers, and Developers as well as various internal teams to achieve the desired outcome. Construction management experience, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and various other application tools are desirable. We are excited to welcome candidates and grow our team.
